二、作为名词使用 “Master”作为名词使用时，可指代“掌握者”——某个掌握了某种技能或知识的人。此时，它所代表的人拥有完成该活动的足够能力。我们可以说“master of arts（文科硕士）”或者是“master of science（理科硕士）”等等。 另外，“Masters”还有“主人、领主”的意思，常用来称呼贵族。我们可以用“Masters”来指代“主人”。例如：
1.The students were expected to address their Masters as "Sir" or "Madam". 学生们被要求向老师致敬问好。
2.In this case， it was the landlord's Master who owned the property and rented it out to his tenant. 这次是地主的大老爷把这个房子租给佃户的。
