纽约大学医学院很牛吗？
本人是纽黑伦校区的，不是SPS的，所以回答的可能不是很精准，但应该可以解答一部分问题 纽黑仑校区的MD项目有三个学院。一个是朗格尼（这个学院在曼哈顿），还有一个是格拉兹（在布鲁克林），还有新成立的脑学院（在曼哈顿）。其中朗格尼和格拉兹都是传统的医学院，历史悠久，而脑学院是一个跨学科的医学院，比较新。
三个医学方面的学院在教学质量上差别不大。就我个人感觉来说，最大的区别就是朗格尼和学生接触的教员数量多一些，因为学生比较多，老师上课的时候不能照顾到所有学生，所以需要学生下课去办公室找老师问问题。至于其他两个学校我不太清楚。

New York University's (NYU) School of Medicine is ranked No. 5 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report， up from its previous highest ranking at No. 6， released todayin a new set of medical school rankings. NYU’s rank marks eight consecutive years that it has been in the top six nationwide and nine out of ten for the university overall. The news makes NYUSM one of only two high-ranking medical schools with campuses in both New York City and Los Angeles——the other being UCLA
The annual best colleges list puts universities into tiers， according to criteria including student selectivity， faculty resources， graduation rate performance and alumni giving.
In this year’s list， Yale tied with Harvard for third place ——both received 27 out of possible 30 points.
For the seventh straight year， Stanford came in first on the list————with 34 points.
The top five remained unchanged from last year： Stanford， Harvard， Yale， UC Berkeley and U Washington。 Five more schools tied for sixth， earning each a perfect 30 points， as well as one point for having a program accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. Those programs are： Johns Hopkins； Northwestern； Oregon Health Sciences； UCSF； and Vanderbilt。
A total of 156 medical schools were ranked this year， down from 157 last year. Schools can be ranked because data is available regarding their acceptance rate， mean undergraduate GPA of incoming students， mean MCAT scores， retention rates and the percentage of students who finish the program within the normal timeframe of four or five years.
